Panned Ammonium

Description

You take a break from wandering around the camp to check out the nearby creek. Finding an abandoned gold pan, you decide to try your hand at prospecting. After a few hours of wrinkled hands and acute eye strain, you notice a silvery nugget shining brightly in the pan.

Taking it, you notice its soft and malleable nature. Certainly not silver. Must be an ammonium nugget. You seem to recall that this area is known for its large fish population. Couldn't be ammonium though. Solid ammonium changes to a gaseous state when coming into contact with oxygen.

As you nod smugly with this timely (and otherwise completely useless) knowledge, the nugget dissolves into a wispy blue vapor which you inadvertently inhale. Probably not the best move, champ.

All of a sudden, everything around you goes blurry and you're surrounded by a veritable army of dancing and singing black and white bears. It wouldn't be so bad if they were all singing the same thing but as it is, it sounds like a freight train charging through a bell tower at full steam, filled to the brim with screaming beetles. This would be cool as hell if you weren't so terrified.
