• The juniper berries from juniper bushes bit is a reference from Monty Pyton's "Life of Brian," where a misguided crowd follows Brian, whom they believe is the messiah, to the high mountains and proceed to complain about their hunger. Brian then tells them to eat juniper berries at which the crowd cheers that he has performed a miracle by making the bush "fruitful by his word."
