Vlad The Inhaler

Description

A sudden urgent flapping sound alerts you to the arrival of a nearby entity, and as a dark shape emerges from some encroaching shadows, you recoil in... well, if not abject terror, at least mild surprise. A tall, caped figure looms over you and begins to speak in a raspy voice.

"I am..." The figure pauses and raises a finger, indicating for you to wait. After a few seconds, it resumes, "I am the..." But it's no good. The figure begins to cough and wheeze, spasming uncontrollably, obviously struggling to catch its breath. It begins to frantically search the folds of its cape for something, spilling all sorts of bits and pieces on the ground. Eventually, it pulls out... an asthma inhaler? ... Really?

The "terrifying phantasm" takes several deep pulls on its inhaler, and immediately looks relieved, if not slightly embarrassed. After a few seconds, it attempts to recompose itself, resumes its threatening pose, and starts to speak again, "I am the..."

Frankly, you've lost interest, and you stroll away with your loot, chuckling as you go. "Dude, you suck. Worst. Vampyre. Ever."
