Your battle-cry was truly awesome, but your aim leaves something to be desired. The guitar pick misses (him/her/it) by a long way and hurtles off into the distance, leaving (him/her/it) more or less completely unaffected, if a little on the deaf side. | Your battle-cry was truly awesome, but your aim leaves something to be desired. Template:Summary/Items/Misc |description=An incredibly intricate, yet pointlessly cumbersome guitar pick, carved from stone and rumoured to give its bearer the power to get very sore fingers. It also makes a pretty nice blunt object for hurling at your enemies.

When Used
When used in combat against a hard rock snake
- Successful Attack
The pick sails true and lodges firmly in the snake's scales. It does not need (does not need) a microphone (a microphone) for you to hear its screams of rock-n-roll anguish caused by your (5-12) DAMAGE.
- Failed Attack
When used in combat against everything else:
- Successful Attack
The pick strikes your opponent a glancing blow to the head, knocking off a piece of their horn and sending them straight back to hell.
Or rather, causing (5-12) DAMAGE, whatever works.
- Failed Attack
Your battle-cry was truly awesome, but your aim leaves something to be desired. The guitar pick misses (him/her/it) by a long way and hurtles off into the distance, leaving (him/her/it) more or less completely unaffected, if a little on the deaf side.
Notes
References
This item contains a number of references to The Pick Of Destiny, a truly awesome 2006 movie/rock opera starring the boys from Tenacious D, for example:
- The 'Battle Cry' of "KICKAPOOOOOO!" comes from the first song in the movie and is the name of Jack Black's home town.
- The quote "It does not need (does not need) a microphone (microphone)" comes from the song "Master Exploder".
- There are more, but seriously, figure it out for yourselves, I'm not going to give everything away. Sheesh!
As with everything in The Zweit-Childer Mine, there are also Guns N' Roses references. Find them yourselves too :)
