Chat Events

Chat Events are held every month by our esteemed Moderator group. Each event is usually held at the end of the month and normally on weekends. During the events cash prizes and item prizes are given out to player who participate in raffles,games,dice rolls, and sometimes just for showing up! If a certain month contains a major holiday, the moderators hold a chat event coinsiding with the holiday content. During these types of chat events, rare prizes are handed out to the players to get them in the spirit of the holiday. Also, during the event there is usually a DJ spinning tunes on RadioFree Xangaka. So make sure to check out the Contests & Events section on our game forums for the next chat event! During 2010 and 2011 various moderators held an end of the month chat event almost every month. The purpose of these events was to bring the community together at a specified time and place. Events lasted anywhere from one hour to an entire weekend. Sometimes these events were related to a holiday and other times the focus was just have a group of awesome people in chat at the same time! Although officially hosted by one or more moderators, all people who attended any of these chat events helped in their success. Quite often non-moderators would offer min priced items in their stores and host games. Of course the more people that visited during any event made it that much better for conversations to ensue. These events have truly been community based and inspired.
