March

On August 29, 2010, Paradox citizens received a Birthday mystery box for Paradox’s second birthday. When they went to open their gifts, they discovered that the developers didn’t have time to code anything in them! To their dismay, they would have to wait. Gobberwart posted “For anyone wondering, the new packages will be openable soon. As soon as I know when that is, I'll post an update. In the meantime, enjoy the shininess.” No one thought they would have to wait more than a few weeks or so. They were wrong.

After this day, there was not much new content. Gobberwart continued to post updates, but they were mainly pertaining chat events, holidays, or bugs. Only 1 Limited Edition Item was made during this time, dubbed the “Dead Period”. Most players got bored of the game and only logged on to produce really bad jokes and festive drinks or not at all. During this period, some developers left the team and Gobberwart had a migraine problem causing Beta development to stop. After May 11, 2011, no new updates were posted until March 8, 2012. A few holidays in between had no new content or no content at all, like Paradox’s Third Birthday, Halloween 2011, and Yule Day 2011. Ragazi joined the developer team with a Pink Shirt and vowed to bring Paradox forward.

A chat event on March 15 to 16 brought back many old regulars and just the day after, some new St. Patricks day content was released, and now Paradox is alive again.
