When Used

• You fumble with the Backpack Buddy for a moment or two and locate the little red button. You push the button and the object makes a bunch of weird metallic noises, and starts changing so quickly that you become a little dizzy.
  • You lose 'X' HP where X = 10% of Total HP rounded to the nearest whole number
• You acquire the following: xPhone

Combat messages

• A creepy song starts to emanate from your backpack as a mechanical hand stretches out and swipes an item from your opponent. Then the backpack shouts "¡Vámonos!" as the hand retracts.
  • You acquire an item: Any item the monster you were fighting can drop.

Notes

• If you attempt to use this item with insufficient HP, you are given the message "Using this is a bit too dangerous for you right now. Try again when you're a bit healthier."
• It is possible to have the backpack steal multiple items in the same combat in different steps.
