Getting Started Guide

Introduction

Paradox! The Musical is a browser-based, massively multiplayer role playing game that has original adventures, quests, real-time chat, trade, as well as lots of other fun and exciting things!

It's a kind-of steampunk-ish, time-travelly, whole sort of general mish-mash of a game, and there's a little something for everyone to enjoy. Everyone over 13, anyway. Some of the content might be a bit advanced for the younger kids, and as such we wouldn't recommend it for them, certainly not without adult supervision.

This guide is designed to help you find your way around in the game, and hopefully clear up some things that might be confusing the first time you encounter them.

Where Do I Begin?

The first thing you should do, if you haven't already, is investigate some of the game menus and familiarise yourself with how things work. You'll be using these menus a lot, so it helps to know what and where things are.

Once you've done this, you'll probably be wanting to get started, but you really shouldn't rush into it.

To help you ease into it, Professor B. Ginner von Noob at Paradox University's Noobology Department will be able to give you some things to do, without over-taxing you.

To get to the Department of Noobology, go to your "Navigate" menu and go to "Town". Once there, go to Paradox University, and then to the Noobology Department .

Once you get there, Professor B. Ginner von Noob will give you directions on how to complete your first quest, during which you will get a feel for some of the basic skills and locations in the game. As you complete more parts of the quest more areas of Paradox will open up, which in turn will allow you to experience even more things!
