This is the armour-plated abdomen of a seriously sturdy ant, minus all the gooey internal bits. So it's pretty much just armour.

Conveniently, if not entirely believably, there's a small label attached, which reads "ONE SIZE FITS ALL", so you could probably equip it as a shirt. I mean hey if you're into that kind of thing.
