In accordance with the time-honored customs instituted by the Ancients thousands of years ago, Christmas is a time to get together with friends and family, share a meal, exchange gifts and wear silly paper hats.
Considering it's just a paper hat, it's surprisingly sturdy, and its festive appearance seems to make some people more generous.
Go on, put it on. It won't make you look like a dork at all. You know you want to.
