Description

Suddenly, you hear a whimpering sound coming from the corner of the kitchen. Upon investigating you discover a pimply teenager curled up in the foetal position. He is rocking himself from side to side muttering until he notices you.

"HELP ME!!!!" he cries pitifully, clinging onto your leg. "I-mean-it's-only-my-first-day-here-and-you-would-think-getting-a-couple-of-cups-of-coffee-would-be-an-easy-thing-to-do-wouldn't-you? But nooooooo. This place is going to kill me! You've got to help me! PLEEEEEASE!"

"Okaaaaaay...deep breaths, bro..." you say, trying to reclaim your leg, "What exactly do you need help with?"

"Well it's my first day here on work experience and the team of scientists I'm working with have sent me to run a few errands. They've asked me to get coffees for all of them, along with a left-handed hammer and a tin of striped paint."

"Uhhhh-huh," you say, stifling your laughter.

"Yeah" says the kid, "But I'm having enough trouble getting the coffee let alone the other things. It seems like everything in here is trying to kill me."

Give Him Some Help

You patiently explain to him that there is no such thing as a left-handed hammer or a tin of striped paint. As for the coffees, you suggest that finding a coffee shop is probably the safer option.

Rewards:

Give Him The Slip

Rather than wasting your precious time helping out some work experience schmuck you simply shrug and say, "Sorry man, you're on your own." You walk away as he goes back to rocking and muttering to himself.

Rewards:

Give Him A Kick While He's Down

Your inner bastage rises to the surface and you can't resist the urge to sink your boot into his gut while he's lying helpless on the floor. Meanie! I bet you're the kind of person who takes candy from fairies and doesn't believe in babies.

After giving him a kick you realise it wasn't as satisfying as you thought it would be, lose interest and wander off.
