You Wish

Description

Under a sycamore tree, in a secluded corner of the park, you come across a quaint old-fashioned wishing well.

On the one hand, you could toss in some of your hard-earned moolah, but on the other hand you feel somewhat tempted to lower down the bucket and see what you can get.

Make A Wish (10 Moolah)

You close your eyes and make a wish as, with a slight twinge of regret, you toss 10 moolah into the depths of the well.

Somewhat surprisingly, you hear a surly voice coming from the well: "Hey! I'm tryin'a sleep down here! Can't a bum get any peace?", and your moolah comes flying back at you, apparently with interest.

Take A Wish

You look around to make sure nobody's watching, then with some effort you lower the bucket down into the well and back up again.

The bucket comes up full of some unidentifiable black goop, which you rummage around in, hoping to find something good.

There's nothing in the bucket except for the goop, in which your hands are now liberally coated. Well that's just great! At least you gained some experience, although you get the feeling your luck isn't likely to get any better for a while.
