Ants In a Park Quest

How To Receive Quest

Visit the Noobology Department anytime after level 3

You're wandering through the park when you hear someone yell, "I am so sick of all these mother-flippin' ants in this mother-flippin' park!" You spin around and see a bald guy in a sweater vest. He walks up to you and shakes your hand. "Hi, I'm Sammy. Some people call me Sami, but I don't really like that. So don't do it."

"Uh, hi?" you say, pulling your hand back.

"Are you here about the ants?"

"What about the ants? Surely they're not that much of a nuisance. Besides, it's a park. There are supposed to be ants here."

"'Not that much of a nuisance'? Are you serious? Look around!"

You take a look around. "How in the world?" In the few moments you've been talking to Sammy, the ants seem to have multiplied exponentially.

"I called the department well over five minutes ago. What took so long?" he demands.

"Look man, I'm not an exterminator."

"'Exterminator'?" He cocks his head sideways. "Is that what they're calling them now? I don't like it. Sounds too much like a bad movie title."

"Calling what? Look, I don't know what you're talking about. I'm leaving."

"Hold it." He pulls out a piece of paper. "Are you Player Name Here?"

You look at him, stunned. "Yes..."

"Well, it says right here that you're the one the department was sending." He hands you the piece of paper and sure enough, it has your name on it. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell anything about this 'department' he keeps talking about.

"What can you tell me about the department?"

"Nothing you don't already know if you need to, and nothing you need to know if you don't."

"Right. Just testing you." It's a pathetic lie, but he seems to buy it. It looks like the only way to get any answers is to take care of these ants.

"Here, you might need this." He hands you three bottles filled with clear liquid. "It's ant-acid. It should help you burn through the ants faster." You groan at the joke and put the ant-acid in your back pack. "Good luck."

• This is the first adventure of the Ant Quest.
• Continue to adventure again until you get the Every Ant Is Takin' A Chance adventure.
