Combat messages

During Combat:

• You hold <pet name> to your ear and speak softly. "What's that?" you ask. Your holopet remains mute, but you're undeterred. "Great!" you continue, "We can look after we defeat this foe." You can't wait till this battle is over to look through whatever passes for your opponent's pockets.
• You look down at the limp form of <pet name> and say, "Oh really? We'll have to check that when we finish this epic battle with this evil ne'er-do-well!" You sure hope your holopet is right about what your opponent is carrying.
• You hold up <pet name> in front of your face and shout, "YOU take it, faithful sidekick!", before hurling your impassive holopet in your opponent's general direction. It's not particularly painful, but it certainly provides a distraction. Quick, now's your chance!
• <pet name> does absolutely nothing, which you decide to interpret as making a suggestion. "What a terrific idea!" you say, as you toss <pet name> toward your opponent, who in turn becomes thoroughly entangled. Ha! Take that, evil!

After Combat:

• <Pet name> does nothing, meaningfully. "Thanks, pal!" you say, remembering to check extra hard for loot.
• Suddenly, <Pet name> begins to glitch. Its previously pristine holographic form quickly loses definition, blurs, and shatters into a swirl of a million colours, which begin to spin in the air, faster and faster. Sparks begin to fly from the newly-created vortex and you start to worry about all that raw power, which you think could destroy you both! And then... it's gone, and <Pet name> looks exactly the same as before, with one small exception. Your pet has left you a little present. Wow, taking a holographic alien lifeform to the bathroom is INTENSE, man!
