The items listed below alter the frequency of combat encounters relative to non-combat encounters. It is believed that each zone has a base noncombat percentage, and these items either raise or lower the base rate by the rate shown.

- To maximize the chance of getting a combat encounter, equip items that increase the chance of combat encounters and decrease the chance of non-combat encounters.
