Description

Ooooh, here's something interesting - a mechanical fortune telling gypsy. In a box. Clearly, if anyone knows what your future holds, it'll be this thing.

For just 50 moolah, you can choose to hear your fortune. Or not.

Hear Your Fortune (50 moolah)

When Pressed:

You decide to give it a whirl, and place 50 moolah into the slot provided. The box lights up and, with some amazingly unrealistic robotic lip-synching, a mysterious voice speaks...

"I forsee a short trip in your very near future."

A short trip, huh? Interesting. You turn to leave, wondering where you might be going, and almost immediately fall over a carelessly placed log, crashing to the ground with a bone-jarring thud. Oh yeah, that's REALLY funny.

"I sense a change in your fortune for the better," says the voice, "Things will be looking up for you, unless they're taller than you are in which case they'll be looking down for you. Either way good things will happen."

Sure, that's what these things always say. You tell yourself that you don't believe a word of it, but you do feel slightly hopeful.

"You wish you were small."

Suddenly, and for no logical reason, you're ten years old again. There then follows a series of highly improbable and only vaguely amusing scenarios in which you terrify your partner, wet your pants, attempt to purchase liquor using your totally valid drivers licence, present a report to the third grade on the economic instability of several third-world countries, and finally attempt to do your taxes in a nearby sandpit.

After a few minutes of this garbage, you realise how stupid you're being and come to your senses.

"You will shortly meet the man/woman/other of your dreams."

Is that it? Disappointing, incredibly generic, but intriguing all the same. You shrug to yourself and wonder who the lucky person is going to be. With this in mind you wander off with a little extra spring in your step, and your ego.

Or Not

When Pressed:

Realising that you never believed in all that psycho mumbo jumbo anyway, You wisely decide to save your moolah for something a little less frivolous.
